Custom Software
As a management team committed to efficiency and accuracy with years of experience, FP designs and writes all of its own software. Existing programs are enhanced and new programs are written by our on-site programmers in response to the ever-changing requirements of our business and our clients' businesses. The enhancements are based on client and internal requirements as well as changing technology — always with the goal of maximizing service and efficiencies.
The fully-integrated FP system manages the complete payment flow for GPS. The transaction management process is designed to integrate agency variables in data capture (data fields, procedures), communications (e-mail, fax), and payment (ACH, wire, check). Unique websites allow transactions to be completed on line with custom data field capture and real-time authorization of funds. Transactions are loaded real time for customer service access. Call scripting also allows for custom data fields as well as unique service requirements. All internal data and external communications meet PCI regulations.
In-House Technology
FP is supported by the newest IBM technology, an i5 520. The i5 520 houses all of our custom software applications as well as our internal network. Employees connect to the i5 520 using a PC or an IBM terminal. We use a Linux web server for our on-line stores T-1s for outside connectivity.
