Fulfillment Cycles

Cycle counts are performed by "freezing" the item and its associated orders so that timing discrepancies can be minimized. Inventory reports are sorted by item and provide all locations for each item. The stock is counted twice and verified to the number in the system. When unacceptable variances exist (number dependent on product value, product type, source of product, and order volume), the stock is recounted and the cause for variation is researched. The frequency of the cycle count also depends on product value, product type, source of product, and order volume as well as reported inventory levels. At minimum, cycle counts are performed annually or more frequently if contracted with the client.

Other Inventory Reporting

Online inventory reports are available at anytime.
Account Service Representatives (ASRs) communicate regularly with clients regarding inventory and orders depending on client business rules and specific inventory circumstances.
A 'Quantity on Hand' report is supplied every month with the billing package or file, and clients may use the FP web-based reporting suite to deliver this report to their desktops in real-time.
Standard or custom reports are provided as needed.

FP's climate-controlled, Indianapolis facility allows for effective storage and pick-and-pack of a wide variety of non-perishable items and a central location which minimizes overall shipping costs.
